Michał Kuciapski, Ph.D.

The Professional Profile:

Michał Kuciapski has completed master studies at University of Gdansk, specialization of Business Informatics and gained there his Ph.D. grade in 2012 . His research work regards technological and economic aspects of knowledge transfer in organizations, in particular in respect of e-learning. His current research includes: e-learning projects, evaluation of international standards in e-learning, and factors determining the acceptance of e-learning, in the context of Web 2.0 technologies sa well as processes modeling, analysis. Teaching courses in which dr. M. Kuciapski is involved, include programming, software engineering, mobile and web technologies, design of distributed applications and databases. As a longstanding Microsoft Certified trainer he collaborates with a number of the IT companies in Poland. He has extensive experience in the following software using: ASP .NET (Active Server Pages), EF ( Entity Framework ), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), Azure, Windows Store, Windows Phone and SQL Server. His high level of professional competence is confirmed by the international certificates gained, with the following most important tones:

Michal Kuciapski is the author of the publications in both English and Polish, also presented at prestigious, informatics, international conferences. He published also the chapters in t academic textbooks: Business Informatics, UML 2.1 and Computer Networks in Business. Michal Kuciapski is the laureate of the second edition of the InnoDoktorant – Scholarships for PhD Students funded by Human Capital Operational Programme of EU , and winner of the first prize in the XVIth Competition of Doctoral Dissertations in the Field of Business Informatics organized by the Polish Research Society for Business Informatics.
