196.gifHer research activities and teaching competencies include management information systems, in particular: CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems as well as Customer Knowledge Management. Her theoretical knowledge is supported by the substantial practical experience in the area of localization and implementation of an integrated management system. She has been a member of the team of the projects for the firms – Trzebinia Refinery and Triumph Poland, regarding the process-oriented business models development.

Dorota Buchnowska is the author of numerous publications in English and Polish, including book CRM – Strategy and Technology and article Customer Knowledge Management Models: Assessment and Proposal (in: LNBIP93, Springer). She is also the co-author of textbook: Business Informatics. Academic Handbook, edited by prof. S. Wrycza as well as the article – Prerequisites and Effects of CRM Systems Use in Poland (in: Advances in Information Systems Development, Bridging the Gap between Academia and Industry Vol. 2, Springer).
