The Professional Profile:
Bartosz Marcinkowski is a graduate of the University of Gdansk, Faculty of Business Informatics. Engaged in scientific and didactic activity regarding information systems design, in particular modeling object-oriented systems, UML (Unified Modeling Language), SysML (Systems Modeling Language), BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), as well as CASE (Computer–Aided Software Engineering) tools. He is also an expert in the field of computer networks administration as well a trainer at numerous professional training ventures dedicated to development of IT competences of Pomerania region employees in the above mentioned fields of information technology. His high level of theoretical knowledge and professional skills is confirmed by the international certificates, inter alia:

- OMG–Certified Expert in BPM,
- IT Infrastructure Library,
- Cisco Certified Network Associate,
- Cisco Certified Network Professional.
Author of numerous publications in English and Polish, including books that are widely recognized in Poland: UML 2.0 in Information Systems Modeling, Simulating Business Processes. BPMS and BPMN Standards in Practice or UML 2.x. Advanced Exercises. His work has been presented at numerous domestic and international conferences in Western Europe and USA. B.
